I have owned my 2008 Jeep Liberty since buying it new in Dec. 2007. Got recall notice that says Chrysler will install an OEM trailer hitch free of charge. I call dealer. They say people "misunderstood" the notice, that they are not getting a trailer hitch they can actually use as one. They are only going to install a support, not a functional hitch. Took my car in because it had overheated to the point of bringing on check engine light. They couldn't replicate the problem and did nothing except an oil change.
